ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Jaipur

Arrive at the Jaipur airport and get a transfer to the Hotel. Later, proceed to visit the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometres away from Jaipur. En-route, visit the Hawa Mahal. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort. In the afternoon, take a walk through the colourful bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work which is a specialty of Jaipur. In the evening, we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir- a Hindu temple built in white marble. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur

Enjoy full-day at Jaipur to explore and shop till you drop.

Day 3: Jaipur-Jodhpur

Today, drive to the Sun City called Jodhpur and on arrival, check-in to your hotel. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates. On your tour of Jodhpur, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built on a steep hill. This fort is amongst the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later, proceed to visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. You can also take a stroll down the bustling markets of Jodhpur. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Jodhpur

Today, explore the blue city of Jodhpur on your own. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5: Jodhpur-Udaipur

Today morning, after breakfast, drive to one of the most romantic cities of the world-Udaipur. Check in to your hotel and proceed for the sight-seeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Udaipur

Today, you can relax and explore Udaipur at your own pace. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Udaipur –Pushkar

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drive to Pushkar. One of the most important pilgrimage places, Pushkar is famed for having the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. Visit Dargah Sharif at Ajmer on the way to Pushkar. At Pushkar, visit the famous Brahma Temple and if you are lucky, you may be able to witness the famous camel fair of Pushkar too. Take a holy dip in the Pushkar Lake and visit its 52 bathing Ghats and more than 500 temples, each having its own legend of miraculous powers of healing and displaying variety of architectural styles. Pushkar is also known all over the world for its beautiful roses as well as rose essence. You can visit the Rose Garden in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pushkar.

Day 7: Pushkar-Jaipur

Today, you drive back to the magnificent ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to do shopping or relax. Stay overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 8: Jaipur

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and get transferred to the airport/railway station/bus station for your onward journey.
