Old Delhi
An ancient walled city. Here you will drive pass Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Rajghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city.
New Delhi
This city designed and built by the british in the 1920's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and qutub Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate.

AMBER FORT: After breakfast ,proceed to Amber Fort the ascent to the fort will be on elephant back/jeeps,Amber fort,the formal capital of the royal jaipurs.
11 kms from Jaipur - A marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. The magnificent old citadel, a labyrinth of massive walls and towers, shrouds an exquisite marble palace, pillared and carved glimmering with a million tiny mirrors, which create tantalising reflection effect. The ascent to the fort is on gaily caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharaja's of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years.

City Palace Museum - an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art. The Museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and procession.
Jantar Mantar (Observatory) - an accurate Observatory built in 1726 AD :
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storeyed wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires.

Day:4 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra(232 km / 5 ½ hours)
After leisurely breakfast, Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri: The Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri about 35 km from Agra, and moved his capital there. Later abandoned, the site displays a number of buildings of significant historical importance. A World Heritage Site, it is often visited by tourists to Agra.

Taj Mahal:Agra is the medieval city of the famous 17th century masterpiece Taj Mahal, which of course is the most splendid of all buildings - perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. It was built in the memory of the beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal of one of the greatest kings Shah Jehan of the Mughal Empire.

Itmad-ud-Daulah
Empress Nur Jehan built Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, sometimes called the Baby Taj, for her father, Ghias-ud-Din Beg, the Chief Minister of Emperor Jahangir. Small in comparison to many other Mughal-era tombs, it is sometimes described as a jewel box. Its garden layout and use of white marble, pietra dura, inlay designs and latticework presage many elements of the Taj Mahal.

Day:6 Agra -Jhansi (Shatabdi Train 08:10 AM / 10:25 AM)
Jhansi/ Orcha / Khajuraho (172 kms. /4 Hours)
After leisurely breakfast, transfer to railway station to board shatabdi train to jhansi.

Set on the island on a bend in the Betwa River, it is elevated above the surrounding wooded countryside.once capital of its own state, Orcha contains three palaces -The Raj Mahal, Rai Parveen Mahal, Jahangir Mahal -each built by succeeding Maharajas in a similar style and combining to from a complex as imposing as that at Udaipur. Also visit Ram Raja Temple & Chaturbhuj Temple.

Day:7 Khajuraho - Varanasi (Flight)

After breakfast,visit Khajuraho City: Founded in the 9th and 10th century by the rulers of Chandela Dynasty, influenced by tantrism, in eroticism becomes a theme of philosiphical interest and the aim is sublimation of sexual relationship in the sexual act or "Maithun" ,women being regarded as the incarnation of the divine energy or "Shakti". It is also possible that the Khajuraho were influenced by "Kama Sutra".Among the temples to visit are the Kandariya Mahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath temple, and various ather temples.

Afternoon visit Varanasi City: The consists of visiting the city temples -the durga temple, better known as the Monkey temple on account of the large number of monkeys residing there and the temple of vishwanath (or Visheshwar "Lord of the Universe") are the most sacred spots in the city. Visit will also include Bharat Mata or Mother India Temple and the Benares Hindu University.

Early morning, boat ride on holy river Gangas -to see the ritual bathing and cremation is worth the effort of waking up before sunrise, a direct contact with life on the banks of the Ganges. Hindu pilgrims come to bath in the sacred Ganga, facing the rising sun, or at dusk, when leaf-boat lamps are floated down the river.
Afternoon visit Sarnath: 10 kms from the centre of the city,Sarnath symbolises the birth of Buddhism. It was here that Lord Buddha revealed his doctrine and founded his monastic community. The Museum at Sarnath is amongst the most important in India and contains carvings representing a whole range of styles - Archaic, the covering work of sculptors from 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D.
